is a collection of my thoughts on all things parenting: pregnancy, birthing, feeding, sleeping, gentle guidance and lots and lots of ideas for play time and fun. From songs to games to crafts and solutions…whatever I feel like researching, exploring or rambling about.

About me
I’m Ariadne. My current job is being a mother. It’s by far my favorite job, for all the lack of financial benefit and the hardest hours it is the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.
My husband and I have been together for 15 years. We have three children, a five year old boy, a three year old boy and baby girl. Added to the mix are our family dogs, a six year old boxer girl and a five year old boxer boy.
I have a bachelor’s degree in communication and creative expression. After many years living in the United States and Brazil, my family and I lived for about two years in Germany and are currently living in Switzerland. Pre-kids, I worked among other things as a marketing executive and as a ballet dancer.
Through parenting at home and also working as a playgroup facilitator and with International MOMS Club, I discovered I enjoy creating solutions to everyday parenting challenges and sharing these ideas with other families.

I was in one of your playgroups in Sutton with my little boy. We were so sad to see you move away, we still sing songs we learned with you. I will visit again because you have like super ideas that I can do Samuel.
Olá Ariadne. Não sei se tu lembras de mim. Moramos no mesmo condomínio em Porto Alegre. Fui muito amiga da Adelaide, tua irmã. Infelizmente perdemos contato, porém nunca esqucerei de vocês, uma família linda!!E que eu vejo neste blog, está maior!! Adoro o que escreves e compartilha aqui, me ajuda muito. Tenho uma filhinha de 1 ano e 11 meses, a Cloé. O primeiro nome de escolha seria Daphne, como a tua outra irmã, não é mesmo? Enfim, mas acabei decidindo por Cloé pela lenda Grega.
